Utility Dogs - World Championship – 20-23/09 – Zalaegerszeg (HU)
35 countries from all over the world were represented by 134 top trained dogs of
7 different breeds, at the very friendly town of Zalaegerszeg in Hungary, which
hosted FCI's 22nd World Championship for Utility Dogs.

Earth Dogs Grand Prix - 24-26/8/2012
The trials regulations for earth dogs approved by the FCI General Committee were
applied for the first time from 24 - 26 August 2012. The FCI Earth Dogs Commission
is responsible for entrusting the organisation of the above Grand Prix to an organiser.

German Hunting Terriers (IV-DJT) with the award of the CACIT - Skara (SE), 25 August

The International Association for German Hunting Dogs (IV-DJT, founded in 1993)
awarded its Nordic member Sweden the task of holding the 18th International "Work
after Shooting" Trials. This was the first time Sweden had organised the event.

New head office for the Peruvian Kennel Club (Kennel Club Peruano)
The Peruvian Kennel Club was founded in the city of Lima on 1st July 1960, and its
first chairman was Reynaldo Pocchop who, as the leader of an enthusiastic group
of people, set out on the long road which lay before the Club, bringing us to the
21st century with new prospects for the future, in terms of both institutional matters

Italy's international show schedule is packed, with more than 50 shows in one year.
Some of them are "doubles", i.e. we have two international shows at the same venue
on the same weekend.

FCI International dog show held in Seoul on 1-2 September 2012
World Championship Racing in Mont de Marsan, 1-2 September 2012
The South of France called – but the number of participants was not very high. Precisely
260 sighthounds from 13 countries had registered for the World Championships in
Mont-de-Marsan on 1-2 September, considerably fewer than for similar competitions
in 2000 (World Championships) and 2005 (European Championships) at the same venue.

In memoriam, Decease of Mr Manuel Martín Rodríguez
Mr Manuel Martín Rodríguez passed away in Madrid on 19th October. Mr Martín suffered
a fall at his home last May, as a result of which he broke both his hip and his
left wrist. This meant that, to his great sorrow, he was unable to attend either
the Exposición Internacional Canina de Primavera in Madrid or the Annual Meeting
of Members of the R.S.C.E.

In memoriam, Decease of Ms Zoya Zakharyann
Mme Zoya Zakharyan était à la tête de la Fédération Cynologique d'Ouzbékistan (KFU)
depuis 2004. C'est grâce à elle que la KFU est devenue membre de la FCI, tout d'abord
en tant que partenaire sous contrat, puis en tant que membre associé en 2011.
